Kehm Design & Consulting is based in Germansville, Pennsylvania. We specialize in residential plans for new construction, additions, and remodeling. We also provide Code Consulting Services for Builders & Municipalities.
As an established firm in the community, we’ve built our reputation on accuracy and honesty. We are a proud member of the National Association of Homebuilders as well as a member of the (Local) Carbon Builders Association. We work with builders and individual clients to ensure all our plans meet the IRC Building Code. In short, we are a design firm you can trust!
Bryan Kehm, founder of Kehm Design, LLC, has over 20 years of design and construction experience. He began his career as a builder and began drawing homes using CAD software more than 12 years ago. He is a specialist in Residential Structure and Prescriptive Code Compliance and is licensed by the state of PA Dept. of Labor and Industry as a Residential Building Inspector.
Bryan’s history as a builder gives him an edge as a home designer. His hands on experience gives him a deep understanding of the practical applications of his drawings as well as a materials and equipment required to build a home and costs associated. His knowledge of prescriptive code and structure allows him to recommend and find alternatives, where they may exist, saving both homeowners and builders thousands in construction cost while maintaining and , in some cases, exceeding minimum code requirements.
